"DO YOU BELIEVE I CAN CUT THE SUN IN HALF?"
when i least expected to play favorites, i deemed myself a hypocrite upon the first woo. so i am simply condemned as this review takes form. the lyrics, painful and beautiful, reinvent love's approachings. their music maneuvers into otherworldly sounds; some tunes amplify, others soften, but overall the seducing weight strokes And soothes. with tender chords orchestrated into that delicate, dreamy voice, i finally understand what it means to lose myself for days in daydreams... i think of uncharted feelings in my ribcage, how they resonate and calm. i remember what it's like to be vulnerable and obsessive over the inklings in love. i yearn for the fruits of a first kiss, the steady realization of true love, the walk down the aisle, the heat above my wrists. i long to trace the heart of my loved one. a hollow heaviness remains for those who feel robbed and placed in such music. the autumns will not leave you with regret. if anything, absolute longing. |
